The assertion that the cancellation of NRT-BKK is all part of some carefully considered strategic plan to shift load to a JV partner is sheer fantasy.
Please note that this capacity reduction on NRT-BKK would have been decided jointly by UA and NH. This isn't some loose codeshare cooperation. Flights on these routes are planned and sold by an entity that includes UA and NH stakeholders, and then operated by whatever aircraft this group deems most appropriate.

Asserting that this decision was taken independently by NH without UA's direct involvement is the fantasy.

UA moving some "overflow" passengers onto TG has nothing to do with this. And NH will share the costs of moving these pax.
