OK I have read this entire thread. I am just coming off a BKK trip. NRT-BKK completely FULL, not a seat to be had. BKK – NRT 95%. I am disappointed by the decision and the bone crushing Y on ANA is not appealing at all. Not sure when I’ll do. The Qatar 777 economy looks good and fares are great as well. BUT the miles earning rates are awful!!! I have also had numerous great experiences on EVA; I have been flying them for over 12 years. The premium economy used to be very affordable. But changing back to EVA means 2 flight reservations with 2 different airlines, I always had good luck but at some point my luck will run out.

The most disturbing thing to me right now is the fact that they are still selling seats for as far out as I can see. UA 6/7 in summer and back to 837/838 in the fall. In addition, there are also code shares being sold by other airlines on this non-existent NRT – BKK flight operated by UA. It is completely unacceptable to have a UA metal BKK flight still in the system almost a month after the announcement. So what is going on? Is this flight toast or are they on the fence? With the high loads why not just raise fares?

When it comes to ground opps in BKK wonder why they can’t contract with TG like DL does. As a former DL diamond, it was always TG employees working check in.
