Ya, I'm quite excited to visit the newly renovated QF lounge in Changi and is looking forward to dining there too (heard to live station is good). As for EK lounge, there isn't much stuff (except for the free flow of Moet champagne) as compared to QF lounge, I think.

Same here, I will be boycotting SQ (except to redeem award tix via CC points) from now on due to the price factor and the lack of benefits for their own Krisflyer *G. I am a student after all and for SQ Y tix at $1.4k, I could have probably take QF Y at $700 rtw and return home again during Easter break (and clock up enough SC for Silver) :/

But again, I have my fair share of bad experiences with Qantas too. I recall an incident where I was left all alone in Heathrow with no help being rendered to me, a minor (was 16yo that time) during that snowstorm incident. I can't even check-in to a hotel since I was <18yo back then and I have got to 'fight' my way thru with the crowd to get my BP and stuff. I was stuck there for a good 2 days. After that incident.. I was compensated SGD$500 flight voucher but my telephone bill alone costs up to $800 plus :/

The plus point for SQ is mainly their tickets (can change date anytime) without any fees and their service. I was initially scheduled to fly off on the 15 Feb but I changed it to 10 Feb (lucky me and got upgraded ) but I have got pay $50 more being a 'local service fee'..

I am a NB in Qantas and will have got to wait from 6:30am till 11:30am for my next flight to Melbourne
Nice one!

For the same reasons I am on QF W, just find SQ whY too much to ask for in terms of pricing.

I was originally on QF52, connecting on QF8 on the 14th, but got moved to QF6 when the operating metal became 333 from 744. As there was a W cabin, sadly no op up for me, but I hope my then SG status will help me (am PS now from previous QF51 2 weeks ago), in any circumstance, I'm claiming for original route credit so no SC goes to waste.

Regarding lounge movements, I'll head over to the BA galleries for a glass of Nicholas feuliatte first, then proceed to QF lounge for its island dining, if possible, ill head over to the EK lounge thereafter for some after dinner scotch before finally boarding the plane, more champers on board !

Hopefully with that much flying I will get WP in no time.
