Despite a fluctuating J count on ExpertFlyer, the Diamond Desk has ensured 2 seats are available and the seat map has shown 4 empty seats since mid week. I want to ensure that I am on the airport wait-list correctly and assuming I am 1 or 2 (and that additional seats don't sell in the next 24 hours,) that I clear.
When I did online checkin this morning I didn't see the wait listed OP segment for NRT-JFK. After calling the desk, they said the SWU is still wait-listed and that it will transfer to the standby list when I get to the airport (not sure how that's done though if I already checked-in.)
Is further intervention is needed to make sure everything is setup correctly? I'd greatly appreciate any advice that can be shared to ensure my SWU carries through and clear (assuming seats remain available.)
Thanks!
Why buy an M fare if the UG isn't available? Shocking.
The code for international SWU waitlist isn't UP2A/B. It's something else but I forget what. It's on this forum somewhere.
