DL is going to be offering PDX-SEA flights on their own metal. Why else would they do that if not to feed their international flights out of SEA? I think the writing is on the wall for PDX-AMS/NRT.
If the AS/DL relationship ends or if AS cuts most of the code on those flights, then they will have even more reason to be axed.
I hope not, the NRT flight has been around a long time and AMS about 8-10 years or so. The AMS flight killed the LHT flight to FRA and then the city of Portland (or was it the state or metro) handed DL a lot of money to not cancel the flights through the depression. Now they seem to be very full most of the time and DL recently moved from an A330-200 to an A330-300 on the AMS flight to handle the load. I am hoping DL is doing the PDX/SEA run to connect flights to China as well as LHR and CDG.
