There's also the question of ancillary income. In may airports the carriers get a slice of merchant leases, parking and cab surcharges.
NRT is an interesting hub to consider as well.
I would say in terms of total profit, ATL would be #1 just because of the economies of scale (think Walmart). In terms of marginal profit, however, ATL would be down on the list for reasons already stated.
Anecdotally, which hubs are the hardest for DM's to get upgrades in? Not specific routes (like ATL-LAX), but from a single hub to almost everywhere. The assumption is that that airport would have a higher percentage of people buying Y/B/M and G/A/P/F fares.
