That is appalling for an Athens. They load Cheese Sticks on that flight to serve with the bar round and I find it hard to understand how a Purser/CSD would not know that an Athens, such a long flight, would not have a bar round first.

I am quite stoical and we survived. And I am more than able to get up to fetch drinks from the galley. Just a shame, I guess, for other passengers who may not be au fait with the routine and who understandably interpret a swished curtain as meaning no further service; and also for you and the majority of your colleagues who do provide such a service. Hey ho!
