whilst u r messing around, someone could book one of your nights leaving that night with zero or one PB room.
Just go ahead, book and repreat as discussed/informed. I wish you luck. I have never booked two rooms, so do not know the process, AND in any case you can't check availability of a night for second room UNLESS first night booking completed to take 1room off inventory those nights.
Award nights are Flex and cancelable. BUT just check on first booking confirmation page that is true, as the odd hotel may impose cancelation fees even on award nights or make cancel free period 7days before stay on busy or special periods and events.
