That one is the worst. I went in for ten minutes once and chose to leave and sit at my gate. Although most staff members were friendly, there was one very loud and rude staffer. I don't know why she was volunteering.

I've really enjoyed some of the USOs in small to mid size airports. PNS, RIC, & VPS come to mind. It's often the closest thing to a club at small airports.
Now that you mention it I do remember a crabby staff member during my last visit at BWI. She was worse than a Drill Sargeant the first day of basic.
