A Member Service Executive (I believe from Manila) called me and asked if I would like to get back to the original schedule without any fee which I agreed.
Today on Manage My Booking I saw the original booking has been restored.
He also mentioned the AM agent got wrong info from my TA about how much the cost of rebooking my Premium Econ(R) ticket. I said I dont care how you didi it, it was a binding contract between AM and me, and AM couldn't deliver.
I'm glad that's settled.
I'm finding it a bit strange that AM has to ask the TA for the cost to do the rebooking, don't they simply do it themselves (having taken over the booking)?
