That said I accidently book a flight over the summer in my wife's married name but her passport is still in her maiden name so we took our marriage certificate.
It wasn't even noticed....... Doesnt say much for security checks does it.....
She has taken a double barrelled name so that might be the reason it was missedor assumed fine.
We have been in this situation for years. BA tickets in Mrs 'andad's name, but Belgian passport in her maiden name. It sometimes has caused a small delay while a supervisor is called, but we have always got through after 5 minutes, incl 3 entries into the US, no delay there at all.
We take marriage cert, also Belgian passport office have added her married name on next page, but it's written in ball pen so it's not very official lookimg and could have been added by ourselves
