Hi there, long time reader of FT forums but first time poster, I hope someone can help!

We've booked flights with BA through Priceline.com for MEL-BKK-ARN-LHR-ARN-BKK-MEL, both legs between MEL and BKK are code share with Qantas.

The tickets were booked in my wife's maiden name, however she recently had a new passport issued with her married name.

Priceline.com have told us BA can't process a name change on code share flights and that we will have to cancel and rebook (we've been quoted $455)

I would just like to get an idea what are our options here? I have read about flying with the marriage certificate but it seems like a high risk option.
