Confused by this statement. Plat/Aeroplat is offered by annual fee. Just wondering if you can clarify what promo you're referring Amex won't allow new applicants.

.. Or just continuing what Amex has been offering. Not sure what a mid-tier Amex can offer that either the Gold or Plat can't offer for mid-range fee?
