Coincidentally, I got a pm on a similar scenario for a Plat+ run....but they forgot the "25 stays or 50 room nights, at "three or more Delta properties" requirement. Delta is strict on status so I would not count on a pass ie 3 nights short of 50.

My two cents.....If I was that close to Plat+ I would grab it. Whether for Biz or personal stays the "Unlimited upgrades to the best available room at time of reservation" is huge....even better than the coveted Royal Ambassador Status with IC. Book a base room and essentially you always get Club level or very nice Suites with or without Club access where available. Add, the free full breakfast for two, and 1500 Aeroplan miles per stay and it adds up for personal benefits.

Check out my Thread here on Delta Promotions and search out the lowest cost nights and go for it. Hopefully you've got the 3 or more properties covered or you may need to move around. Since you are in the GTA , I like the Delta London myself.....great service and even as a Plat you should get a Club room upgrade and they have the best club lounge this side of IC Montreal. Unlimited adult beverages 4:30-7pm (Wine/Beer), good snacks, and great service. Email Delta London reservations in advance if you want to lock in a Club room upgrade.
