I've talked to many Plat card holders who had no idea about the travel credit or the parking benefits at YYZ. Think of all the AE status holders who don't really understand the benefits that they're entitled to... It's all a game
True.. hotel loyalty programs are the same in nature.
CC cardholders is a different game than, Status mile members.. We're in it for point accumulations, and flights. The lounge is a nice perk, and hotel loyalty programs tied into cc membership is definitely beneficial. Hotel traditional qualification, and loyalty is in the tank. Hotel programs don't treat loyal members any different than fast track members.
Its all about the game, working the system, going to where its most beneficial, and leaving loyalty at the front steps. Work it, churn it, burn it..
