Haven't been to Woodbury outlets lately but there're fewer choices.

With either, wear comfortable shoes as plenty of walking around.

Tanger Outlets at Deer Park out on Long Island is a bit closer to the "city" - off the LIE, exit 52 - we shop there sometimes since it's a short 35 to 50 minutes drive instead of Tanger@Riverhead - again, choice of dining is rather limited.

Notes (edit): The Arches is ... a short distance from Deer Park LIRR Train Station. Purchase the Tanger Deer Park package at open ticket offices and ticket machines (gray or blue) @ NY Penn Station (33rd Street.) ... rail fare to Deer Park station, board the Tanger Outlet Shuttle for a short ride. Turn in voucher stub at the Outlets Shoppers Services Center for a coupon book ... savings.
