[QUOTE=Globaliser;21930687]So the crew was zig-zagging through the cabin to take orders?
QUOTE]
They were and it was not relaxing to watch from an aisle seat.
I have had a similar experience on CX travelling in Y where they were clearly following up on OneWorld status and I was even being welcomed and addressed by name. But everyone else got trolley service --- it just ensured status passengers wherever in the cabin got served drinks first and had a meal choice priority.
But I really didn't get how BA on this flight had worked out the order of choice and service - and if I had to opine - then the only sensible observation was that the process was slowing down service with no observable benefits.
I'm still following the thread to be enlightened - LOL
