I'm finding something similar for late Dec: The cheapest public rate at the PH from the 20-22nd of Dec was something like 80,000 JPY and now is showing not available at all. Obviously no awards nights showing.

I'm temporarily between jobs so no corporate code for me at the moment which would normally knock off about 50% of that - Don't suppose anyone has any ideas of what might get the price more back to normal in case of any availability opening up?

There's a random site which has the Conrad for about 1/2 the cost (even if it won't count towards HHonors) which I might have to go with.
