Great responses everyone -- truly appreciate the help. A brief reply to some of the points brought up:
1) Yes, I do have enough money to pay for this flight.
2) I appreciate finding the 25K flights for the month of January. I am looking for a very particular itinerary (leave Friday night, Jan 24 and return Sunday night, Jan 26), so the 32.5K points will stand. I need to have this itinerary because I will be traveling with friends and our logistics on the ground will be much easier if we fly around the same time.
3) I agree -- 0.7 cents per point is pitiful. If I have more flexible travel plans, I will plan on using these Delta points for something that AT LEAST gets me 1 cent per point. Do you think that's good guidance, or should I be aiming for more? Just to put things in perspective, I average about 1.7 cents per point with my British Avios -- definitely the most killer frequent award program that I actively use.
