If you are not occupying the property permanently and do not have tenants, bear in mind that there could be issues with insurance as most property insurance contracts have clauses requiring the property not to be left vacant more than a set number of days. I guess that you could probably find insurance even if this is the case but you would probably have to go through a broker to find an insurer and the premiums would presumably be higher (no idea by how much, though).
