Hey team,

I currently have about 50K miles + Silver Medallion status, which won't get you very far on Delta. I've only booked one other reward flight on Delta before -- it was an NYC to DTW flight that cost me 32.5K miles (IMO, horrible bang for your buck). I currently need to fly to Jacksonville in January, and that flight is also ringing up at 32.5K miles. If I go ahead and just purchase the cheapest fare, that would come out to $211.80. Basically, the redemption comes out to about 0.7 cents/point. Is it me, or is that worthless?

Delta FF community -- where are the 25K flights? Are there any? What kind of redemption values should I be taking advantage of right away when I see them? If 0.7 cents/points is the best you can do with Delta, then I might as well book award flight. However, that would leave me with 18K points, which is still not very useful until I get it back up to 25K again.
