Excuse me for the basic question, because I'm sure this is documented somewhere, but after spending time reading and looking, I think I've overlooked it.

I read that AA (miles saver only) and Oneworld flights can be booked with Avios. I believe the best way to search for these is on aa.com and award nexus. The question is how do I book them with my avios? I see a statement that for straightforward bookings, I should be able to do this online, but I wasn't sure how. Do you just have to use their search for flights and find the same one? I haven't seen many (any?) AA or oneworld partner flights when I was searching for flights that are being booked with avios at the british airways site.

Any thoughts?
