Was there this past weekend for 2 nights on an airline "mileage" run. Stay was ok but not really as good as before. Arrived late - about 1030pm - due to concert that we were late for because of late flight. Lady at checkin said corner room on 15 th floor, I said that's really low so she went back to manager and came back with corner on 21st, I said ok and that I've been trying to apply a Diamond Suite Uograde for a while without success, she went back to manager again and said they were sold out. Which is fine - the property kept varying between available with relatively high rates and sold out for a few days. The room had carpeting, as expected but on a lower floor and to the "left" of the picture above - so I'm pretty sure that that picture is of the Sir Francis a Drake and the Starlite Rooom.

Sat afternoon at about 4pm, I went up to the GC to get a drink and printout boarding passes. The club was full of kids (not to start a debate on whether kids should be in the club or not but it felt like a kids club at Hyatt resorts) and they were playing on the computers. So I just got a drink to go and went to the lobby to print the boarding passes. Not sure why people were hanging out in the GC at that hour since it was not time for evening service.

Another relatively significant problem was that I called to request a wake up call at 5am on Sun (7:45 flight). Operator confirmed and said that a 2nd call at 5:15. Calls never came. Fortunately my partner woke up at 5:10 so we got out as planned. Mentioned it to the clerk at checkout, since this lapse could cause major potential problems. He apologized. Wasn't necessarily looking for compensation but wanted someone to know of the error.
