I remember the lounge to be nice but breakfast didn't impress me. Location of the hotel is so central that in less than a minute you can find food options.
I wouldn't spend the points on the upgrade, maybe you get a nice deal at check-in.
I agree. The lounge is physically nice, and the staff are nice, but the offerings are pretty meager. I've stayed in a suite with a connection room with twin beds. The connecting room was not a bad size. The suites are fabulous, however.
