Am afraid as you fear, the opposite happens too. It's one of the reasons I'm seriously watching AA for 2015. This ridiculous blocking of EF when their UG system is so corrupted by revenue management is bugging me to no end.

It took her less than 3 minutes, she assigned me a seat and I confirmed it in UA.com. I am pretty sure she was from an offshore call center and she was more than great in handling this request.




There is such extreme variability. I wonder if policy enforcement varies by call center. Unfortunately, I bet UA is watching this thread and will throw down the gauntlet as a result. It's a sad fact that we use this forum to help each other and they use this forum to find out how we are helping each other then put a stop to it.
