I've never had the pleasure of staying on the gold floor in Lake Louise, but you've got me tempted now. I find the CLL gives me excellent value on certificate redemption, so I end up using a suite upgrade as well as a free night there every year, which makes a gold floor booking not possible. Maybe next summer I'll splurge for gold and use the certs elsewhere.
