What is the purpose of the tags? I don't intend to wind anyone up, but I just don't think they do much. If one is going to check in at a "priority" desk, the AC status will be indicated on the booking or if one presents the card. Do the baggage handlers pay attention if there is a status tag, as I think they just toss the bags about regardless of status. As it is, my bags with the red priority tags typically come off 1/2 through the annoyingly slow delivery at YYZ & YUL. There are just so many AC pax with varying forms of special status that I don't think it makes much of a difference now.
