Hmm... interesting idea. I'd tried to put my AC tag into the CX case, but it didn't fully fit - and I was too lazy to create a new hole, etc. But much better for protection.
I did loose mine earlier this year as well; requested them in October (called AC SE line, and was redirected to Aeroplan), and they arrived 5 weeks later.
