Yes, indeed as Jenbel also pointed out previously, those who think the commander's authority and ANO's powers are absolute might be in for an unpleasant shock should things ever come to court.

For the airline/crew/commander/ANO to lose it would probably need to be a non-safety related order and preferably a polite (and sober) passenger doing the disobeying. I'm sure we could find plenty of the former, I have doubts about the latter
