I, too, have been rebooked in full Y twice this year. First was a glitch in DEN that got rebooked, and credited, in Y. Then last month I was surprisingly CPU'd at the gate on an LAX-IAH red-eye, and subsequently un-CPU'd when the original FC passenger showed up. When the flight credited to MP, it did so as a full Y, with the extra half segment and miles.
