While the maxi tour seems interesting, but it require reservation, it is available on the date that I am in FRA, however the tour only start at 5pm last until 6:30pm (did I read it right ? I can't read German), not sure if it would be too tight for my 8:45pm departure on NH.

Yes, 5pm to 6:30pm. Since you can't read German (neither can I), you are aware that the tours is in German, correct? Are you just planning on seeing the sights without listening to them (I've considered this in the past, but haven't done it).
