Wrong. Hawaiian will add new cities with the Airbus Next Gen. They are talking about nee flights out of OGG and other flights from HNL. From LAX the 330 will remain. The next gen Airbus is a Totally different animal. The current 737-8-9 are not suited best for this aircraft. UA needs to stick a 757 on this route. It's your choice to fly a 737 on this route, I will not. And I'm sure 40 other people will choose not to fly UA again.
yeah, well, thats what every airline says about new planes, how thye will open up new routes, but we all know that is never the true purpose. I'd bet we'd see some switches once HA realizes the cost savings potential on some of these markets, or they will simply add frequency, which is what some of these 737's have done.
