I just earned a Travel Together Ticket for my BA credit card and I'm trying to figure out the best way to use it. My nearest international airports are LAX and SFO. My wife and I fly to Spain about once per year. I've read that Avios are not ideal for that kind of long-haul flight, but could it work out if used with a Travel Together Ticket in first or business?
I use them all of the time and they are great. But yes only for Club or First due to the high taxes. Great thing is they allow date changes and can be cancelled if your plans change. So go ahead and check availability for the next 12 months.
