It is not a DSLR. There are no reflecting lens (mirror) element in the body. Thus it belongs in the 'mirrorless' class. And, along with the excellent RX1, quite above the posters capabilities.

I think a low-mid m4/3 system, particularly from olympus, will provide the snappiness he needs
