As we finally decide on the date of our return from Madrid to Chicago we of course find no more business available next Oct on our return date. We can certainly live with economy which is 20,000 miles. In trying to book it gives an option (which does not work if you click it) to use miles and $. The best option was 10,000 avios with $95 extra cash. Since all the bloggers say miles are 2-3 cents each this seems to good to be true. So if it is true but the website does not let you book it may I assume we call the agent (pay the 15 E fee) and we will get a great price of 10,000 miles and $95 to fly home? Anyone done it this way?
