Question on direct booking/award redemption (LAX-NRT)

Thinking about transferring about 200k Amex points to my brand new KrisFlyer account in the hopes that I can use these to redeem a biz class reward from LAX to SIN in November.

Since I've never redeemed on SQ before -- but am well aware of the absolutely impenetrable block of all awards on SQ via *A partners -- am wondering if it's worth the risk.

What are the chances/likelihood of redeeming 1 award tix on a route served by an A380? Impression I got was that those are impossible for partner award tickets but almost equally so if you're booking on SQ direct.

Any and all guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. (Obviously I realize that it's impossible to predict with any guarantee award tickets, but just trying to get a sense of whether certain routes or planes or classes are blocked for direct booking with SQ).
