I did a Gold priority reward to MLE in J for 2 (before the T&C's were changed to specifically exclude combination of Gold Priority redemptions with Amex 2-4-1). I effectively paid the regular price of 200k avios for 2 return. and was thus able to cancel some ex MIL revenue tickets at £6.7k for the 2 of us. I think the TFC were about £700 so I saved £6k for 200k Avios or about 3p per avios.

This is the one of the few times I have used avios though as a real alternative to paying for a flight. Now my value would be better using a GGL joker and Amex 2-4-1 and only 100k of avios.
