A distinction between Stay Certificates and gift cards

The website of Hyatt states that there is a list of participating properties both for the gift card (with a face value in USD on it) and the Stay Certificates for the number of xy nights.

Hyatt Stay Certificates: Things To Know

* Hyatt Stay Certificates do not expire.
* Reservations must be made in advance using the code on the front of the certificate.
* Certificate will cover all applicable taxes.
* Add a Hyatt Gift Card to your purchase to cover incidentals, such as resort fees
(Gift Cards valid in U.S., Canada & Caribbean only).
* No credit will be issued for any certificate that is not fully used.
* Not all of Hyatt’s Gift Cards & Certificates are redeemable at all Hyatt locations. Be sure to check the list of Participating Locations before purchasing.
This info is displayed at https://www.certificates.hyatt.com/ if your start the buying process.

Here you will finde a comprehensive overview of the participating locations both for the gift cards and the stays:
