I have 2 personal AA cards (MC and Amex) and got the 60k bonus. Points haven't actually posted due to system upgrade on AA's side, but my statement noted that I earned ~65,000 AA miles (60k + 5K spend). $5k was pretty easy to do with VRs, just one stop to my local CVS and good to go.
