It may well be that the red-e-deals have a restriction that they must be sold in Australia. Matrix is based on point of sale of USA I believe

Looking on Expert Fleyer, the US POS fares for O,Q,S and V class are all only valid for sale in conjunction with inbound travel to Australia. The L class and higher are available generally for sale worldwide
