Hun? Many of the B-gates for european flights in to/out of AMS use stairs and/or buses. I think that all of the KLM city hopper flights use B. The small planes even use remote stands and buses that dump arriving PAX out on the lower level right in front of baggage claim.
IME, it's mostly a bus. On a couple of occasions, the City Hopper flight parked near the gate stand and we just walked up the stairs to the normal jetway and into the terminal.
