Change to Aeroplan booking procedure - adding an infant.
Booked reward travel a couple of weeks ago for the family to go to UK later this month. AE website won't let you book an infant so, as we did for the travel earlier in the summer, I booked online & then phoned in to add the infant. (No booking charge, either $50 or 5k aeropesos)
AE agent advised that he would "write to ticketing to add the infant" and that process could take 11 days. When I queried that earlier in the year an agent added the infant there and then, he told me that their process has changed.
Now it's more than 11 days later & when I check the PNR on AC.com it clearly shows my wife + infant & other daughter. But no further aeroplan points have been taken from my account. Do I need to follow up with Aeroplan to make sure that this has been ticketed? I'm not travelling with the family on their flight & don't want them to get to the airport and have a problem!
