It does work over GoGo WiFi. I text chat on GoGo all the time. I didn't know that there was any reason (other than GoGo being too slow) that Skype voice wouldn't work too.....
It's not that it is "slow", it is that the latency is long. You could talk non-stop and it will keep up with you, but the other end will hear it delayed by too much. If voice conversations are delayed too much they become useless.
But on the real topic, if people are going to talk on phones, I will start playing music over my speakers.
