While these seats may be bad for 50%, I suspect most will put up with it if it's cheaper. welcome to today's airline reality.
Real problem has to do with employers who will expect you to travel in these conditions.
you are probably right. [Added, the stat for men is 60% either obese or overweight...]
i am actually pleased with the J seats...and thankfully, my employer pays for me to fly there...[although in return, i am carrier agnostic and seek out the best deal in a product i can sleep in, even if that means layover or longer flight times]
