I'd certainly agree with that. I definitely have the impression that the probability of being offered a POUG on a simple LHR-XXX return is much higher than that when you have a domestic feeder. That said, on at least a couple of occasions I've been offered a POUG ex-MAN on a long haul trip via LHR.
