I was afraid of that.

Looking at options, there are no redemption seats available around my date except for one in F. I've never done a pure redemption before, only upgrades, and I recall a few years ago they changed Avios upgrades to non-flex (or rather, to reflect the flexibility of the fare bucket upgraded from). Did they mess with pure redemptions too or are they still changeable/refundable? I'm still hopeful I won't need to make the flight, but it's really more avios than I can afford to throw away.
