You can doublecheck an eventually upgrade visiting your booking via SPG app or website before arrival, if you are supposed to get an upgrade. Normally that isn't gone, if you are arriving late.
Thanks - I am platinum & we staying three nights. With apartments in the upgrade pool as well, I guess the chances are good.
