By "other Doubletree" do you mean the Doubletree Suites? If so, they do, indeed, offer the full buffet to elites - all you need do is leave a tip. Drawback I found was that it's open atrium plan (ES-style), and on a recent visit I was able to clearly hear the echoes of loud kids in the rear, bedroom portion of the suite. I arrived late to breakfast, and they had clearly been having slight trouble keeping up on re-stocking, although I had enough choice for a decent plate of food.
