So is there a consensus on when the points actually post to the RR account relative to when the card is first charged the full $2000? I've seen some say it's when the purchases are made, others say once the statement period ends. errr I think I read both of those possibilities.
I'm in the other boat, I have CP now and only need 20,000 or so points to renew for 2014 but I won't be traveling for a couple months, so I'd like to get those points credited this calendar year and not next if possible so I can at least have it for another year.
Oh, and for others who asked, I got the 50k points offer in the mail just last week as well.
