The flights were within 72 hr. (They missed the 1am flight by less than 30 minutes and I got them on the 8:30am flight). At the HKG airport, KE would not do anything for them, telling them to go to Delta, which have already shut down operation for the night. Calling Delta, the best they can offer the flyers were monday (2 days later, with penalty of ~70,000 miles each!!!) None of the flyers had any status. So my brother called me, and I called Delta in the US. Should I not be charged? If so, I'll call Delta for a refund...
